Dr. Rachel MacNaughton

Doctor of Acupuncture, Manual Osteopath, Owner

Dr. Rachel has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine since 2007. Taking her training at Grant MacEwan and being one of the lucky ones to train alongside University students and Master Doctors all around China as part of her studies. Dr. Rachel grew up in the Parkland County area and so it seemed fit to finally open a dream rural clinic right here in 2024! She has dedicated her life to genuinely helping patients heal with past traumas, diseases, ailments, pain, mental health, GI issues and more. Dr. Rachel has a special interest in women’s health including menstrual, obstetrics/gynecological/fertility and menopausal issues.

She strives to bring connection, healing and clarity into each treatment session with her. In 2020 Dr. Rachel decided to get a second designation as a Manual Osteopath, which has been an amazing experience.

She is continuing to work on furthering her education towards her human and animal practice with more details to come soon and to date has a total of 8 years post secondary studies under her belt.

When Dr. Rachel is not working hard to heal others, you will typically find her in the outdoors; camping, quadding, archery, horseback riding, hiking and/or playing with her family, friends and animals or building something!

 
 
 
 
 

Tammy Shipalesky

Tammy has a deep passion for health, wellness and beauty and has combined all of her professional modalities to offer holistic esthetic services. She is committed to treating the whole body, mind and spirit in a healing environment so that her clients leave with a sense of renewed balance, empowerment and beauty.

 
 
 

Raelle Houle

Registered Reflexologist Therapist, Student Massage Therapist

Raelle was born and raised in northern Alberta, Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement. She graduated high school in Stony Plain where she now lives with her family. Raelle stumbled upon Reflexology accidentally 12 years ago within an esthetic course. She went on further to take another course in Nepal and has been practicing privately. Raelle has followed a few different paths including training professional sled dogs, she is also a red seal journeyman carpenter and loves to build. Raelle has followed her feet all the way back to Reflexology. Recently completing another course in Sherwood Park where she is also enrolled as a massage therapy student. On the weekend you can find Raelle spending time with her family gardening, camping, playing hockey or ice fishing in the winter.

 
 
 

Kip Kehoe

Certified Natural Health Professional, Registered Reflexologist

Kip is very passionate about health and helping people feel and look their best. She began her learning with Aromatherapy training under Alexandria Brighton in Salt Lake City acquiring Level 3 Aromatherapy, Aromatherapy Acupuncture and Aromatherapy for Children/Pregnancy. Next she received her Certified Natural Health Professional through Trinity College in Indiana. From there she received her Reflexology and Professional Reflexology (hands, face, ears and feet) training in Sherwood Park. After that she achieved Levels 1-3 For Dien Chan and Chan Beaute through the International School of Multireflexology.

Kips approach is in embracing and improving health instead of fighting disease. Through supporting and strengthening the bodies amazing healing mechanisms while treating the body as a whole and looking at all aspects of health (emotional, nutritional and physical). Kips training provides a lot of options as every one is different in what will work for them. Although she specializes in helping with pain, stress/anxiety/mental health and digestion issues she is able to help with a wide range of health concerns.

On her free time Kip enjoys horse back riding, traveling, reading and playing sports. Another favourite pastime is foraging for medicinal plants/weeds and making all natural body products and healing remedies.

 
 
 
 

Arlene Vanderwell

Manual Osteopath, Massage therapist & Essential Somatics Teacher

Arlene has a diploma in Manual Osteopathy from the National Manual Osteopathic College, graduating in 2015. She is also a Registered Massage Therapist licensed with the CMMOTA since 2012. Additionally, Arlene is a Certified Essential Somatics® Movement Teacher who is passionate about helping her clients and students find lasting freedom from pain and chronic tension. Recognizing that all parts of the body function together in an integrated manner she employs a unique, whole body approach to treatment. In her free time she enjoys hiking, golfing, Somatics, yoga and spending time with her family, friends and fur baby Murphie. 

 

Denise Van Den Bussche

Administrator, Patient Care Coordinator

Denise was raised in Lac Ste.Anne County and now resides in the Parkland County area. Denise met Rachel at her first acupuncture appointment about 10 years ago. They became friends and a few years ago, Denise joined Rachel as her receptionist. Denise enjoys the great working environment and greeting all the patients that come into the clinic. She also values the time she spends helping patients feel comfortable before and after their appointments. In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her kids, sewing and raising chickens and sheep on her small acreage.
